Hi, I’m Rachel (she/her), a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Mindfulness & Compassion-Focused Coach.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing is both sacred and deeply personal. I support adults who are ready to reconnect with their inner knowing, break free from old narratives, and move from survival mode to aligned living.
I hold space for deep feelers, self-identified “strong friends,” people navigating burnout, boundary-setting, big transitions, grief, and everything in between. I work best with folks who are ready to slow down, look inward, and explore what healing looks like for them—not just what they’ve been taught it should be.
Many of my clients are eldest daughters, perfectionists, recovering people pleasers, and those who’ve learned to suppress, intellectualize, or over-explain their emotions to stay safe. They often come to therapy feeling like they know better, but still struggle to feel better. If that resonates, I see you—and I support clients in moving from emotional survival mode to more authentic, grounded ways of being.
My approach blends trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and self-compassion with elements of narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, attachment-based work, somatic work, and experiential techniques.
We might explore how your thoughts shape your reality, work to soften the inner critic, or bring in practices like breathwork, journaling, and guided meditations to support your growth.
I’m especially passionate about working with clients who are spiritually inclined (in whatever way that shows up for you), and I tailor our work to align with your values, your lived experience, and the tools that are already working for you.
This work is not one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll create space for curiosity, intention, and soul-deep transformation.
I’m Caribbean American—Haitian, specifically—and deeply value how culture and identity shape the way we navigate the world. I bring that lens into the work and honor the ways our communities have shaped our survival and our healing.
When I’m not holding space with clients, you can usually find me sipping tea, moving in a yoga flow, cooking something heart-led in my kitchen, or writing to reconnect with myself and others. I cherish moments of quiet laughter and connection with my people, and I’m always soaking up time with my dog—my reminder to stay grounded in joy, presence, and simplicity.
These rituals ground me.
They’re woven into how I show up—in session, in my writing, and in the way I hold space.
They remind me that healing isn’t just about talking through the hard things—it’s also about coming home to yourself.
